WhatsApp is now free!
No longer charge subscription fees, that's what WhatsApp just announced after seeing that this approach hasn't worked as they planned since many WhatsApp users don't have a debit or credit card.
Founded seven years ago, WhatsApp was bought in 2014 for $19.2 billion(17.62 billion euros) by Facebook. According to the company, nearly one billion subscribers now use WhatsApp.
And no it's not by ads that WhatsApp is planning to keep it running. "We will test a tools that allow you use WhatsApp to communicate with businesses and organizations." wrote WhatsApp on their blog.
